What about a specific time slot?
When you book City Sprint, you can actually choose a time slot that suits your needs for the collection driver to come and take your goods. Your item will be collected approx between 30 mins before and after the time slot you book, depending on the volume of collections the carrier has.
For DPD, due to their innovative technology, they do text a time slot out to you so you have an hour collection slot, so you can know when to be in at home, or when to head down to reception if you are at work, to hand the parcel over. They won't be able to tell you at the time of booking what time they are coming to pick up, but you will be alerted when the driver is on the way to collect the parcel.
